Cloning a Layout

A scene can have multiple layouts within it, and layouts can be easily copied (or "cloned") so minor changes can be made without altering the original.

1. Open an existing scene or create a new one. (For more information, see Finding an Existing Scene or Adding or Editing a Scene.)

2. At the bottom right of the Scene Details display, click the Clone Layout button to the right of the layout you wish to clone.
   Result: A confirmation message appears.
   Note: If no layout yetexists, see Designing a New Layout .
   
   

3. Click Continue on the pop-up confirmation message.
   Result: The layout is duplicated and added to the scene with the original name followed by "Copy".

4. Edit the name of the new copy by clicking the Edit Name button to the right of the layout name, typing a new name and then clicking the Save Name button .
